Welcome to Steppingley



Steppingley is a picturesque rural Bedfordshire village on the Greensand ridge, close to Ampthill, Flitwick and Woburn.

A sought after village in which to live, Steppingley has a strong sense of community and an active social calendar. It is home to the French Horn pub & restaurant and the Drovers Arms wine bar & Indian restaurant, as well as numerous other local businesses.

This website has been designed to provide news and information for both residents and visitors.



 Carol Service 20th Dec

The popular annual carol service in St Lawrence Church, Steppingley, followed by mulled wine and mince pies in the Village Hall. Donations of mince pies are gratefully received [more info]


 French Horn now open

The French Horn has now re-opened, with a remit to being a real pub again, serving the community with good old fashioned traditional English food and hospitality. Bookings are now being taken, with very positive feedback from those who have already tried out the restaurant! [more info]

 Village Hall for hire
Charming and spacious village hall ideal for private parties, functions and meetings. Recently refurbished, the hall boasts a fully fitted kitchen and new tables and chairs. There is a courtyard and boules pitch outside, and the hall backs onto The Rec, with childrens playground and cricket pitch [more info and online booking]
